The Szentendre English Center language school offers tailor-made Hungarian language courses to foreigners. Private lessons can be arranged with one of our teachers, who has extensive experience in teaching Hungarian as a foreign language. Schedule is subject to the teacher’s availability and can be individually negotiated.
We cater for various needs, from simple, everyday communication skills to a high level knowledge of the language, all the way to the level required for obtaining Hungarian citizenship.

Lessons are available in 20-hour packages. The syllabus is based on individual needs.
Lessons take place at the teacher’s home in Szentendre.
Prior to the first lesson we provide a free consultation with our teacher, where you can get an impression and decide whether the given structure and material is suitable for you.
20-hour private lesson package fee:
Hungarian as a foreign language 20-hour package: HUF 156 000 (20x45 min)
The fee has to be paid in advance directly to the teacher.
There is no cancellation fee, but lessons cancelled less than 48 hours before the class are considered as paid lessons. During one package maximum 20% of the lessons can be cancelled. An occasional, highly justifiable exception is accepted above this.
