SCOTLAND | People make Glasgow...
Travel books say that Glasgow has transformed itself from an industrial city to one of the cultural capitals of Europe. Scotland's largest city. And indeed, Glasgow is full of young people (it has 3 large universities with thousands of British and international students), offers a wide range of great programmes, very modern and traditional in the same time and also very human. People are kind and helpful, though sometimes speak with such and accent that you cannot make it out : (
Of course there are some really interesting places to visit like Glasgow Science Centre, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum or the Riverside Museum which was awarded as Europe's Museum in 2013. However I fully agree that people make Glasgow great, world class, smile and creative - as their promotional campaign suggests.
