Donovaly is a beautiful place in the Low Tatras National Park. It's known as a famous ski resort in Slovakia, but hikers can also enjoy it very much in Summer. Nová Hoľa Mountain, which can be reached comfortably by taking a chair lift, is an ideal starting point for hikes along the ridges of the Great Fatra.
This Summer we spent 3 days in Donovaly, in a lovely wooden house, where everything was perfect. We took the chair lift to go up on the Nová Hola - this is what we saw up on the hills. It's only a three-hour ride from Szentendre, so I suggest it to everyone who likes the nature and the mountains.

Donovaly looks amazing! I love how you describe the hikes and the views from Nová Hoľa — it really makes me want to explore the mountains myself. Experiencing new places like this reminds me that learning English works in a similar way: small, consistent steps and immersing yourself in the language really make a difference. I recently came across the Boston English Center website, and I was impressed by their professional programs like TOEFL and IELTS prep, plus the flexibility to choose a teacher that fits your needs. Definitely worth checking out: https://bostonenglishcenter.com/
